Varieties: Shiraz 80%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%
Regions: Barmera, Barossa, Langhorne Creek –South Australia
Style: Tantalus is created for your consumption today; the fruit is picked at optimum ripeness to express the fresh fruit flavours of cherry and hints of spice. Maturation in American and French Oak puncheons adds further complexity to the wine.
Tasting note: Fresh cherry, chocolate and spice dominate the aromas, while the palate offers the rich complexity of coconut, chocolate and spice. Seriously good balance and structure for a wine offering such drinkability now, however these qualities will see the wine develop for at least four to five years.
