Carmel Kayoumi Shiraz from Israel. The Shiraz grapes were sourced from the Kayoumi vineyard in the foothills of Mount Meron in the Upper Galilee. Fermented in stainless steel in Carmel's boutique winery in Zichron Yaacov, the wine was aged for 13 months in new and old French barriques. A deep purple in color, the nose is rich and complex, showing game and meat aromas. The wine is rich and fruity on the palate, with medium silky tannins, lovely oak flavors and shows significant aging potential.(NOT-Mevushal)
