Adagio wines are made by talented winemaker Sabino Russo at Castellani Winery in Italy. Castellani works continuously to improve the quality and emphasize the native character of all their wines. Their aim is to produce wines which are the expression of one of the greatest regions of the world-Tuscany.
Corfinium Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is obtained from grapes grown in the Abruzzo Region, in Central-South Italy. This ruby red wine ages in French oak barrels for 12 months to fully develop its style, Rich of fruity notes, it shows a full body and a long velvety finish of sweet mature tannins.
Florentia Chianti Reserva was aged for twelve months in oak casks and three months in the bottle, the dark fruit and toasty oak flavors combine to produce a rich and full character reminiscent of blackberries. Perfect with beef, pork, poultry, and mature cheese.
From Hundred Acre, which has given wine drinkers great wines from California and Australia, comes another outstanding value - this time from southern Italy. Layer Cake Primitivo is richly textured and jammy, this packed with dark cherry and berry fruit, along with notes of spice and underlying earthy notes. Enjoy it with hearty pasta meals or braised meat dishes.
